Robin Thicke's albums are pure brilliance. Different tastes for different folks I guess. I have never been impressed by Ne-Yo or Maxwell. It was always D'Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu. Outside of being my personal favorite, Robin hasn't earned his place there yet. Maxwell was place high up because he was one of the firsts not one of the best. Of course he has a great voice, but when it comes to material, he is a subpar writer like the thief that is Beyonce Knowles Carter. Long way around to get to my point, I don't think your article has much substance. Robin moved out when he was 17, and has been supporting himself completely since then. He chose to do this on his own without the help of mommy and daddy. I respect that. Only ignorant, hypocrites do not.
